I hate telling about my vacation using lists, but I'm afraid I'll forget otherwise:
Tuesday - check in to Intown Uptown Inn (great B&B, check for another post); Second Story Books in Rockville, Maryland, where I found the best set of books of all time. Dinner at Domku - a Slavic Scandinavian Restaurant.
Wednesday - floor tour at the mint (we touched wet ink on dollar bills!); National Gallery of Art (part 1); Dinner at Rumberos (Latin American tapas).
Thursday - Tour of NPR (we saw Michelle Norris and Robert Seigel); check in to Topaz Hotel near Dupont Circle (yes, this is the trip of many hotels); walk to the White House, dinner at Georgia Brown's, and an evening walk on the mall.
