Intown Uptown Inn

The Intown Uptown Inn is a delightful bed & breakfast in northwest Washington, DC. Sandra, the hostess, has done a lovely job at creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the breakfasts are to die for. She served banana-pecan waffles with hand-formed sausage patties one morning, and on the next were fried eggs over lox and toast.

Although it is further from the tourist center of Downtown and the Mall, the public transportation is easy and fast - 10 minutes by bus to the Metro station, and another 10 downtown.

If you're looking for an authentic DC neighborhood home, definitely check out Sandra's Intown Uptown Inn.
